Guacamole requires the following permissions:

• activeTab: To scan the page you select.
• scripting: To inject scripts into the page for analysis and snippet generation.
• host_permissions: To allow scanning of any website you choose.

These permissions are only used when you actively trigger a scan.

4. Data Security

All processing happens locally. Guacamole does not store or share your data.
